Dr Wang's Biography

Dr Wang's Biography

From Darkness to Sight shares the remarkable life journey of Dr. Ming Wang, a world-renowned laser eye surgeon and philanthropist. It is an inspirational story of how one man turned fear, poverty, persecution, and prejudice into healing and love for others.

I have worn glasses since I was two. “Coke Bottle Bifocal Glasses” Patch to correct lazy eyes. For years I was told that I was not a candidate for LASIK. Went to a seminar that Dr. Wang had in Murfreesboro in June. I went, and still thought I would not be able to have the procedure. I let my sister talk me into coming for a consultation. I did, still thinking, “nah—it won’t happen.” Two weeks later, I am writing this without glasses! Holy cow!!! Glasses, contacts for 48 years, now just my sunglasses. Thank you Dr. Wang and your wonderful staff!
