Dr Wang's Biography

Dr Wang's Biography

From Darkness to Sight shares the remarkable life journey of Dr. Ming Wang, a world-renowned laser eye surgeon and philanthropist. It is an inspirational story of how one man turned fear, poverty, persecution, and prejudice into healing and love for others.

My vision has always limited my lifestyle. I spent time and money on eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses. Anyone who has worn glasses and contacts knows the frustrations of keeping up with where your glasses are. I chose the WVI because I see the value in Dr. Wang’s practice and in his testimony. My vision was terrible and now it has been corrected! My vision no longer limits me! I wake up and begin my day without worrying about my glasses. In the Army Reserves I can go into the field and jump out of airplanes without losing my glasses or compromising my health. I am so grateful for my new freedom and for the staff at WVI for making it possible. Dr. Wang is an amazing doctor, very personable, and treated me with respect through the entire process.
