Dr Wang's Biography

Dr Wang's Biography

From Darkness to Sight shares the remarkable life journey of Dr. Ming Wang, a world-renowned laser eye surgeon and philanthropist. It is an inspirational story of how one man turned fear, poverty, persecution, and prejudice into healing and love for others.

About 18 months after having LASIK surgery from Dr. Wang, I noticed a slight change in my near sighted vision. After seeing Dr. Wang for a follow up visit, it was determined I would have to have an “enhancement” in my left eye. The process was (as the initial surgery) very thorough and 100% successful. The staff was helpful and professional while always putting my comfort and convenience as a top priority. The true highlight of having a LASIK procedure at Wang Vision Institute was Dr. Wang himself. Beyond his highly skilled and credentialed abilities, he is kind and generous in every way. He even takes the time to phone each patient on the evening of the day of their procedure to make sure they are doing well. I feel blessed to have found such an incredible medical professional as Dr. Wang.
