Dr Wang's Biography

Dr Wang's Biography

From Darkness to Sight shares the remarkable life journey of Dr. Ming Wang, a world-renowned laser eye surgeon and philanthropist. It is an inspirational story of how one man turned fear, poverty, persecution, and prejudice into healing and love for others.

I am so grateful for WVI and the staff there.  I am without words to express my gratitude and joy.  From the minute I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a sense of welcome and comfort.  I was completely at ease, despite the nervousness that comes with surgery.  I somehow knew I was going to be ok and leave with part of myself I lost as a young child, vision.  My special heartfelt thanks to Dr. Wang.  He had such a passion and concern for me, and the desire to reassure and help me.  He has forever changed my standard and opinion of doctors.  My life has been forever changed.  From the first phone call to ask about it, the smile when I walked in, to the procedure itself couldn’t have been better or more worthwhile.  I thank God for Dr. Wang and all his staff and for bringing me to them as I will keep them all in my thoughts and prayers as they have given me much more to be thankful for.
