Dr Wang's Biography

Dr Wang's Biography

From Darkness to Sight shares the remarkable life journey of Dr. Ming Wang, a world-renowned laser eye surgeon and philanthropist. It is an inspirational story of how one man turned fear, poverty, persecution, and prejudice into healing and love for others.

My name is Chelsea and when I was in my second to last semester nursing school, at 21 years of age, I found out I had Keratoconus when my right cornea ruptured and developed what I called a hydrops. Dr. Wang saved my vision by applying an amniotic membrane contact two different times. I have seen Dr. Wang many times and he is one of the most genuinely caring doctors I have ever been around. I just has the Intacs procedure done and looking towards a corneal transplant in the near future. I am very trusting of Dr. Wang and his knowledge about the eyes. I would recommend him to anyone needing LASIK or with a corneal disease. I am very thankful for meeting Dr. Wang 3 years ago and for everything that he has done to save and enhance my vision.
