Can you tell us a story about an individual who was impacted or helped by your cause?
I remember quite clearly the day I heard about Kajal. My team received news of a patient, 6 years old from Calcutta, India. She lived in one of the worst ghettos in the world. If that wasn’t enough, her stepmother intentionally blinded her by pouring acid in her eyes to make her a blind child beggar. Within weeks of this terrible event, she was left to die at a train station but was recused by religious nuns.

Decades ago an atheist Chinese student miraculously departed China, came to America, was born again and then pioneered technology restoring sight to millions worldwide. He did it by inventing a technology that both preserves human life while utilizing the miracle of scar-less healing in the amniotic sac encasing pre-born babies.

Greg Kinnear, who recently appeared in the faith-based dramas “Heaven is for Real” and “Same Kind Of Different As Me,” will star in Open River Entertainment’s upcoming biopic “Sight.” The movie, produced by Darren Moorman and David Fischer, recently commenced its six-week shoot in Vancouver, Canada. “Sight” features a predominantly Chinese cast shot in English and Mandarin, and also stars Terry Chen as Dr. Ming Wang.
