PROS:
- The prayer that Dr. Wang whispered in my ear before the surgery was a very nice touch
- Friendly staff
- Discharge instructions were well explained
CONS:
- Post-op discomfort was not clearly communicated. First 24 hours uncomfortable with stinging and feeling of “something in my eye”
- Waited for 2+ hours before being taken to surgery site
- Was told that the drops were included in the price, and they weren’t. Was also told that they would be called in and ready to be picked up at the pharmacy afterwards and they weren’t.
I would recommend better expectation setting of the actual procedure itself, and the early post op period. I did not realize how the procedure was performed. (bright lights, lots of fluid and not being able to see) it was quite a startle and would have helped to have understood that up front. Thanks!
