My husband is Donald Mattox. He is a veteran of 30 years. Having served 3 deployments, he lost his right eye during one of those. His sight had deteriorated in his left eye to the point that he had no depth perception, was falling a lot and couldn’t see well enough to drive. We went through the VA and they discovered he had a cataract that was taking his sight and he needed surgery but it would be very risky. I said no we can’t take the risk.  We had to have the best qualified doctor we could get. Knowing it would be very expensive we contacted Dr. Ming Wang office.  I found out he was approved to do work for the VA, but it would have to be approved. We were approved for a consultation with Dr. Wang, then the surgery had to be approved. Dr. Wang and his wonderful office staff went to work on it and in two weeks we were approved for Dr. Wang to do his surgery. The surgery was done two weeks later and one day after surgery, he now can see again with 20/25 vision. I can’t say enough about this man and his amazing office staff. I have never been treated with such kindness and compassion by a doctor’s office. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Wang. He has devoted his efforts to helping the veterans by extending and sharing his God given talents to those who would otherwise get second rate treatments and surgery. He is passing his blessings on. And last but not least, I found something in him that is so hard to find in a doctor today. HE CARES. His patients are not just numbers. These are his brothers and sisters in God’s kingdom. We are so blessed to have been given this blessing for Dr. Wang to do his surgery. There is no one capable of doing what he did for my husband. He restored his sigh and gave him back his life and independence. I would never recommend anyone else when it comes to your eyes. If it can be done, he can do it. God bless you in your continued efforts to help others and God bless you richly in your own life. You are a rare and precious human being.
