I have had glasses since I was in 4th grade and remember the day I first received the glasses. I saw how clearly the trees were and I could read a sign for the checkers restaurant outside. That was nothing compared to the morning I woke up after LAISK. Without my glasses I saw my parents face for the first time across the room without glasses making breakfast. I will never be dependent on glasses again and I love the freedom.
